About
My apron is flowered and usually floured. Although I come from a family of cooks, I didn’t start cooking until I moved into my first apartment. And then I promptly fell in love with it. I’m a college student recently transferred home to New Hampshire from Maine. I share my cooking with my fiancee, John, my dog, Whiley, and my cat, Mittens (mostly the boy and the dog, but the cat enjoys her nibbles every now and then).

Hi, Karina! Your blog is very pretty. You have certainly added a lot since you showed it to me the first time. Also, your bread looks amazing! I enjoy reading everything you have written and seeing all your beautiful photographs, even though the actual recipes mean very little to me.

I should probably wear an apron in the case that I get flour everywhere but most of my baking is done in my pjs. So basically fall asleep with bits of flour everywhere. Sick!

Good Morning
Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I am “very” new at this whole blogging thing, and despite that fact, I was also one of the winners of the Sucre give away contest sponsored by BlakeMakes. So, I decided to stop by, visit your blog and wish you continued success. Hopefully someday my blog will approach the level of professionalism exhibited here. AND…..yes I need to get a camera……and FAST!
Sincerely,
Mark

Hey Karina
Thank you for stopping by. Sorry I didn’t have a pot of coffee going…..he he. I also saw the recipe for the Russian Grandmothers Apple Cake and will be trying that shortly. Apples are one of my favorite comfort foods, and I agree, you can NEVER have too many of these “forbidden” gems in anything.
